Bowling

We didn't really have anything to do today so we decided to go bowling. Jeff and I haven't been in years and Karlee has never been. She loved it and didn't want to leave.

Check out our awesome scores! Karlee had bumpers and help from Daddy but not bad.

Poor Karson misses out on all the fun! He has no idea we even went bowling. He fell asleep on the way and didn't wake up until after we were home.

As I was putting Karlee to bed she told me it is fun to go bowling. It was fun to get out and do something as a family.

3 Months

I can't believe that Karson has been in our family for 3 months! He is getting so big and starting to be more fun. He is still doing AWESOME at night sleeping 11-12 hours without waking up. He rolled over on Saturday for the first time and he smiles all of the time now.

He does like to be held and I love holding him too. I just wish I didn't need to get things done so I could enjoy him cuddling more before he doesn't want to do it anymore.

And yes, Karlee still touches him all day long. She told us the other day that she is his best friend forever. I don't know where she has heard that before but I think I will remind her of that down the road when he is annoying her.

Small World

I have these two great friends Meesha (we taught at the same school and have known each other for about 5 years now) and Krystal (we are in the same ward and have become great friends and Karlee and her daughter Irelynn are the best of friends!). But it wasn't until recently that I realized that all 3 of us are friends. Meesha and Krystal went to high school together. So they both came over today and we had a great time talking while the kids played. What a small world!

Got Milk?

If Karson could talk this would be his slogan...the boy likes to EAT! I'm just grateful he likes to sleep just as much or we might be in trouble at night.

a whole lot of nothing

For about the last month we haven't been doing much. While Jeff is at work we usually try to get out a little and go swim, go to the library, or go hang out with friends. Every morning Karlee says, "where we going to mom?" I bought her this bikini at Old Navy awhile ago because it was so cheap but when she tried it on she told me it was broken because there were two pieces!! She says the funniest stuff sometimes!
Karlee loves dressing up and being cute!! I heard her yesterday telling Karson, "I'm pretty, Karson." I think she has heard us tell her that a time or two.

Karson is smiling a lot now and it is adorable! Of course I can't get a picture of it because when he does it I don't have my camera. I almost got one but the flash wasn't on.

Here is another attempt but he wouldn't smile.

He was smiling like crazy today but when I went to get my camera he was done. He is so sweet though and he is now 2 1/2 months old and Karlee STILL can't get enough of him.
