Easter 2013

The kids had a really fun Easter this year! We went and saw the Easter Bunny at the outlet mall.  Karson didn't want anything to do with him.

They also had horse riding for the kids that day.  We had to wait in line for a half hour to ride a horse for 30 seconds but the kids have never been on a horse so they were excited.

Karson didn't want to see the Easter bunny but he was happy to ride on a horse!

Karlee and I made cupcakes one day to take to her Easter party at preschool.

Our ward had an Easter egg hunt one night so they got to look for the eggs with flash lights.

Took pictures of Kyler the bunny!

I know it is embarrassing but you are so cute! :)

We colored eggs one night for FHE.

Easter morning the kids woke up excited to find their baskets.

We got all dressed up and headed to church!

I can't get over Karson in this blazer. I love it!

I love that Kyler can just wear whatever Karson wore two years ago.  It works out great!
We ended the day eating dinner at the Waite's house.
Easter is always fun but we tried talking about the real meaning with the kids and why we celebrate.

Beach Trip

Even though I was super sad to leave Las Vegas I was excited to move to California for a few reasons.  One of those reasons is I knew we would only be an hour from the beach.  We have been here for about three months and we finally made our first trip to the beach!  Our friends invited us to go spend the day with them. We went to Cafe Rio first because there isn't one by our house.  It tasted better than usual because we can't eat it whenever we want like we used to be able to.  Then we headed to the beach!

The kids loved playing in the sand.

Kyler loved the sand too but just wanted to eat it.

Karlee was the only brave one that went in the water! It was cold!!

There was this rope thing that kids could climb on.  Karlee went all the way to the top. Can you see her?

After the beach we went over to ride the Great Orange Balloon.  It is a helium balloon that goes up 400 ft. in the air.  It is probably the closest thing we will get to a hot air balloon ride.  The kids were pretty excited and didn't really get scared.

Here we are with the Thompson's waiting to go up.  They have been so nice to us since we have moved here and invited us to all kinds of things.  We are so grateful we met them.

We had to wait awhile to go up in the balloon but luckily there was a free carousel that the kids could ride over and over.  Kyler even got a turn and thought it was pretty cool.
It was such a fun day getting out and enjoying some of the great things about California!

8 Months

Kyler is already 8 months!  I feel like this year is flying and he is growing up way faster than the other two did. He is a mama's boy and gets a huge smile on his face when he sees me.  He is doing a lot better with food now. He is also on the move.  He isn't crawling yet but just scoots around the whole house. He is really content with whatever we are doing so he makes it easy to go and out and do things.

St. Patrick's Day

All the kids on St. Patrick's Day.
The older two just love their brother and can't wait for him to wake up in the morning or go get him from his naps.  Sometime they love him a little too much!

Such a little sweetie!
