Karson's Birthday

Since Karson's birthday was just two weeks after my family was in town we decided to have his party a little early.

My mom made him a birthday cake.

She also make a little one for him to dive into!

And let Karlee blow out the candle.

It kind of took him awhile to dig in but he liked what he tasted:)

Making a bit of a mess

After a few minutes and a lot of sugar he was done.

He got to open his presents from Grandma Zaruba, Aubrey, and Ashley that night and got lots of cool stuff.

Then on his actual birthday I decided last minute to invite some friends to the park to play and eat popsicles.

When Jeff got home he had more presents to open from us and Grandma Vocana. Karlee got him a couple things and could not wait to give them to him.

Then the kids went swimming in the new pool he got. Now Karlee wants to go in it everyday!

Since he already had had his cake a couple of weeks ago we let him have a little icecream cone after dinner that night. He sure loved that!

I think between the two days Karson had a great 1st birthday!

Karson is ONE!

Our little guy is one today! This year has flown by so fast. I can't believe it was a year ago that Karson joined our family. He has been such a good baby! He has changed so much over the year and really doesn't even look like a baby anymore. We love him so much!!

Happy Birthday Buddy!!

Disneyland 2011

We just got back from The Happiest Place on Earth!! My mom, sister Aubrey, and sister Ashley and her husband Jake all flew out to go to Disneyland with us. My mom has been wanting to take Karlee to Disneyland for awhile so we finally made the plans. Karlee absolutely LOVED it!

Ashley had these cute shirts made for Karlee and Karson to wear.

We got lucky and caught Mickey at just the right time so we didn't have to wait in a long line.

Cinderella was the first princess Karlee met and she was amazed.

We were so happy we got to see Ariel because she is Karlee's favorite princess.

Since Karlee loved every ride she went on Jeff wanted t0 see if she liked the Matterhorn rollercoaster. You can see by her face this was not her favorite. She said it was too fast:)

Karson did awesome the whole time. He loved the rides that he could go on and he slept a lot of the time in the stroller.

We had such a fun trip. The weather was perfect. We got lucky on a lot of rides and meeting characters in that we didn't have to wait very long. The kids did great as well. It was so nice having my family there to help and enjoy the kid's first experience at Disneyland!!

Salt Lake Trip

We went up to Salt Lake this last weekend for little Liam's baby blessing. We had a great time seeing Jeff's parents, grandma, and his brother Kyle's family.
Saturday morning Jeff and Aubrey ran a 5k close to her house. I wanted to go watch Jeff run his first race but it had snowed the night before and was too cold for me and the kids. We Vegas people don't like cold:)

My birthday was on Saturday so Aubrey hosted a birthday brunch and invited some of my friends who live up there.

She made these cute little icecream cake pops which I think turned out so cute!

We finally got to meet baby Cashe (our friends Nick and Lindsi's baby).

4 of my old roommates. So good to see them!!
