Some of Karlee's Favorite Things to Do...

-Read books! I'm glad Karlee loves reading but we look at the same books over and over and over.

-Go outside! She loves to go on walks, go to the park, and play with rocks & dirt. I am trying to be better about not freaking out when she gets dirty. Jeff keeps telling me she is going to get dirty playing outside and I need to relax.

-Do anything mommy is doing. She watches me do things around the house and then I will notice her doing those same things. She got my fingernail polish out the other day and pretended to do her nails.

-Play with friends! Karlee loves her friends and would have a friend over everyday if she could.

Belly Picture

Everyone keeps asking to see a picture of my belly. I am 28 weeks eventhough sometimes I think I look a little more like 38 weeks. We knew I would probably get bigger this time just being the 2nd pregnancy, being home all day instead of working, and not going to the gym like I used to. Oh I am going to have some work to do when the baby comes! This was me last time at 7 months. My shirt isn't as fitted in this picture but I'm not as big as I am now.

Smarty Pants

I have been told by several parents that I needed to buy the video The Letter Factory for Karlee. It is a cute video that teaches kids the alphabet. We got Karlee the movie for Valentine's Day and she loves it. She wants to watch it everyday! So after 2 weeks of watching The Letter Factory Karlee knows most of her letter sounds! ( you have to pause the music so you can hear)

Karlee doesn't know the letters if you show her on paper she just knows the sounds they make. I am not a crazy parent that is trying to teach her how to read already. But I do wonder how a 20 month old can learn the sounds and I had 2nd graders that just couldn't get them.
