2 Months

On Saturday Karson turned 2 months! We went to the doctor today and he weighs 11 pounds 11 ounces already and is 23 inches long. He is a good baby and a great sleeper! He has been sleeping through the night for a couple of weeks now and usually wakes up after Karlee does in the morning. I don't know how I get so lucky with such good babies!

He always has a serious look on his face but he did start smiling about a week ago and it is the cutest! On Saturday we went up to my Grandparents cabin in Pine Valley and stayed the night. Karlee was happy to get away and see some family and Jeff was happy he got to ride the four wheeler.

Karlee wanted to wear a helmet so bad but it was a bit too big.

My grandma said this was my mom's rocking chair when she was about Karlee's age. It is still in great shape.

That was Karson's first trip and he did great. As long as that boy is fed he is good to go!

Karson is 7 weeks old and is growing too fast! I don't know if it is because he is the 2nd child or because he is a boy but he doesn't get as many pictures taken of him as Karlee did. He is a sweet little boy and we just love him so much.

He sleeps so well when he is all wrapped up. For the last few weeks he has only gotten up one time in the night. He goes at least 7 or 8 hours before needing to eat again. I'm so happy he is a great sleeper.

Doesn't get much time on the floor because his big sister will come and attack (she means well, thinking she is just giving lots of hugs and kisses).

He is staying awake more now but he still needs lots of naps during the day.

Karlee asks to hold her brother at least 10 times a day. I hope she still loves him this much when he starts playing with her toys.

4th of July Weekend

This 4th of July was special for us because Karson was blessed. Jeff's parents, his brother Brian, his brother Kyle & his family, and my sister Aubrey were all able to come into town for the weekend. Karson looked so cute in his little blessing outfit that Jeff's mom made for him. Karson did great during the blessing and didn't make a peep.

On Saturday we went to the park and the girls wore their swimsuits so they could get wet.

Jeff did some fireworks out on the street and Karlee liked them except for the green balls. She said they scared her. Then we drove down to a place in the neighborhood where we could watch all kinds of fireworks being let off throughout the city. It was a great view and they weren't loud so Karlee loved it.
