Karlee's 3rd Birthday!

Karlee turned 3 today!! It is hard to believe we went to the hospital 3 years ago to bring our first baby home. She is smart, funny, cute, sassy, dramatic, loving and happy! She is full of personality and energy. She is a girl that loves pink, wearing dresses, playing with babies and princesses. She likes to help and likes being around people. We couldn't imagine our lives without her! We love our baby girl!
Since Karlee has gotten into princesses lately I knew she would want a princess party. She has been talking about her party for the last couple of months and asking everyday when the party was. My friend Sarah made this darling invitation.

Here is Karlee all ready for her party to begin wearing her new princess dress my mom got her.

Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella

The kids made princess and prince crowns.

Karlee's two favorite girlfriends, Irelynn and Heidi and her favorite boyfriends, Jayden and Ethan.

Karlee loved opening her presents.

She was so excited with everything she got.

She got another princess dress that she loves!

The kids ate pizza for lunch.

Karson woke up from his nap to see the end of the party.

I made a princess castle cake! I was pretty happy with how it turned out since I have never made a cake. Now we have cake coming out of our ears:)

Karlee put all her princessess on the castle!

Mommy and her baby girl

The whole family with the cake.

We all sang happy birthday and Karlee blew out her candles!

She also got to open several other presents today from grandparents, aunt Aubrey and Ashley, and us. She had a great birthday weekend and is so happy to be 3! Now our family can take a break from birthdays for awhile!!

Little Monkey Boy

Karson thinks he is so big these days! He is always climbing or standing on something. Then he gets the biggest grin on his face like he is so proud of himself. He hasn't gotten hurt yet but I'm sure it is only a matter of time.

Eventhough he thinks he is so big he still has no desire to walk. He took his first steps over 3 weeks ago and we thought by now he would be all over the place. He has been able to stand on his own for a few months but when he gets tired he just sits down and crawls. We can usuallly get him to walk about 5 or 6 steps but he would rather crawl to get where he is going. I guess when he is ready he will do it.
