Christmas

This year for Christmas we stayed at home and Aubrey flew down for a week. She came on her birthday so she and I went and got pedicures. Then we went out to dinner with her friend who lives here.
Another one of her friends sent chocolate covered strawberries to our house and Karlee sure enjoyed those!
On Christmas Eve we met some friends at the Bellagio to look at the flower display.

Then we had fun on Christmas day watching Karlee open all of her gifts. She got spoiled as usual and loved everything she got. Jeff's TV from a few years before we got married finally broke so we got a new one for Christmas.
Grandma Vocana made Karlee some new PJ's.
Karlee got lots of toys and tons of clothes from Grandma Zaruba and my sisters.
Overall it was a good Christmas and we are looking forward to 2010!

First day of Nursery

Yesterday Karlee turned 18 months! So today she went to Nursery for the first time. I can't believe she is a year and a half old.

I didn't even realize we were wearing the same outfit (red sweater and black skirt).

Jeff had to stay in Nursery for most of the time with her but she did really well considering she had never been in there before and there were tons of kids to overwhelm her.
I just put this in because I am almost 17 weeks and most definately already showing. It is pretty sad since I wasn't showing until over 5 months last time.

PJ Christmas Party

We had our ward Christmas party this morning. It was a breakfast buffet and lots of people wore their pajamas. At the end Santa came and the kids got to sit on his lap. Karlee thought he was pretty cool from a distance. As we got closer she noticed he had candy canes and that is all she cared about. When I put her on his lap she didn't seem to mind. I thought we might get a screaming baby Santa picture but she kind of liked him.
Mommy and Karlee before the breakfast.

The family after the party. (the closest thing to pj's Jeff has are sweat pants.)

Football

Somebody's Daddy must love sports! (You will have to pause the music and then listen to this cute video of Karlee.)

Whenever Jeff is watching football Karlee says, Football and then runs and gets her little football.

The Latest

A week before Thanksgiving Jeff and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary. My friend Krystal watched Karlee for the night so Jeff and I could actually go out by ourselves. We went to Cheesecake Factory and had a great time. For Thanksgiving we went up to St. George to my Grandma's house. Karlee had fun playing with my cousins and swinging in the backyard.
We decorated for Christmas this last weekend. Karlee loves all the decorations and says, "Oh Wow" every morning when she wakes up and sees the christmas tree. She has done pretty good about not touching.
And finally if you haven't heard yet... WE ARE HAVING ANOTHER BABY!! I am 14 weeks along and the baby is due on June 2. We will find out in about a month what we are having. We are excited for another little one to join our family.

Cutie Pie

My friend Cherie is starting to get into photography and she took some pictures of Karlee yesterday to help her practice. I haven't seen them all yet but here are a couple that I think are SO cute!

Halloween

Our Halloween fun lasted all week! Karlee did not like her ladybug costume at first but after wearing it several times she decided it wasn't so bad.
Our neighborhood had trick-or-treating at the promenade. Local businesses handed out candy and other fun things.

This is her and her friend Cohen at the playgroup Halloween party at the park.
I even decided to make my mom's Halloween cookies this year.

We took Karlee to the ward trunk-or-treat. She liked holding out her bag and getting candy.

These are her friends Heidi and Cohen at the trunk-or-treat. They don't look too excited but these are Vegas babies and it was a little chilly that night.

Karlee came home and went through all of her candy.

On Halloween my friend was supposed to have a party and her and her family ended up all getting sick. But last minute another friend called and invited us to a dinner party at their house. I was already planning on dressing up for the other party so I decided to dress up and be a matching ladybug with Karlee. Jeff had his mind set that he didn't have to dress up anymore so he was a party pooper.
Karlee didn't really know what was going on all week but she had fun!

Do As I'm Doing

I haven't posted anything lately because we really haven't been up to much. Karlee just loves following me around the house and wants to do whatever I'm doing.

If I'm doing laundry she wants to help.

Every morning when I'm putting my makeup on she has to sit on the counter and watch. Then I have to hand her the brushes and she puts on her makeup.

Whenever Jeff and I are on the computer Karlee wants a turn. She sits and types and plays with the mouse. She loves to look at pictures and watch videos of herself. She is too funny!

Trip to the Strip

Aubrey bought one of those Jet Blue all you can jet passes. She has been flying a ton all month and couldn't pass up the chance to come see Karlee for a couple of days. We decided to take Karlee down to the strip since she has never been down there.
We went to the Bellagio and looked at their flower display.

Karlee thought it was pretty cool.
Then we took her outside to watch the fountains. It was about 100 degrees but other than being hot she seemed to like it.

Striped Polos

When I started dating Jeff I noticed one thing about his wardrobe. He wore a lot of striped polos! So when I was at Old Navy a couple of months ago I knew I had to get Karlee these cute polo shirts so she could be like Daddy:)

Yes, she still LOVES her binky. I want to get rid of them but then I give in when she is getting fussy and don't want to hear it. I know it needs to happen because she is getting too big to be walking around with one in her mouth.

Little Friends!

We watched Karlee's little friend Heidi today and they had so much fun playing together. They played with Karlee's stuffed animals.
They loved playing dress up with all my old bracelets. You are never too young for jewelry!

They were worn out and needed a milk break.

And of course they snacked all day because they both love to eat!

The Hotdog Dance

Karlee is all ready to start dance (in 2 years) but for now she loves doing the hotdog dance at the end of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She gets so excited when it comes on. It is so cute!!

Utah Trip

We just got back from a 10 day trip to Utah. We had a lot of fun and Karlee did really well adjusting to all the new places we stayed. I am so glad I got to see so many family and friends.

Karlee and I drove up early so we could go to my friend Sheryl's reception. She looked beautiful!
One of the days I got to hang out with my old college roommates Ari Anna and Carrie. We were such good friends at school and it is always fun to see them.

Ari Anna's little boy Hunter and Karlee had fun playing together.

Aubrey and I got to go to dinner with another college friend Melissa. It was fun catching up with her.

Karlee did good meeting so many new people and being at so many different places.
We took her to a little petting zoo one afternoon and she loved the animals.

Jeff flew up on Wednesday and we got to stay with our friends Nick and Lindsi. They have a little dog and Karlee Loved him! She followed him around everywhere the whole time we were there. It was so cute but we aren't getting a dog:)
The last part of the trip we went to Bear Lake with Jeff's family. It was fun to see everyone and Karlee loved playing with her cousins. The lake was freezing but Karlee didn't seem to mind.
Karlee's cousins (except Phebe). For some reason I didn't take a lot of pictures.

We had such a fun time but Karlee is no longer a fan of the car so we won't be going anywhere that takes longer then 10 minutes for awhile:)
