More Birthday Fun

Karlee is officially spoiled! On her birthday she got to open lots of presents and eat more cake. She got so many new toys she didn't know what to do.

We sang happy birthday and let her dive into the cake. She actually only took a few bites and then she was done. She just got her top two teeth so she hasn't been feeling well.

She got presents from both grandparents, both my sisters, some friends, and us.

Karlee loves her new baby from Jeff's mom.

She got blocks from my mom.

Her friend has a swimming pool full of balls that she loves so we thought she would love her very own pool of balls.

She is only 1 but she is already acting like a little mommy pushing her baby around in her stroller.

Then on Saturday we went with our friend Shauna and her little boy Cohen to the circus.

She loved parts of it but by the end they had both almost fallen asleep. It was fun but they were probably a little too young to fully understand what was going on.

Karlee is a year old today! We can't believe how fast the year has gone by. She has brought us so much joy and we love her so much!

She is still pretty little but when we look back through the year we can really see how much she has grown.

Happy Birthday Karlee!

Karlee's Birthday Party

Karlee is going to be 1 on Friday. We had a little birthday party for her on Saturday. Aubrey was able to come down and we invited some of our friends to be there as well. There were a few people out of town last weekend but we were happy for the ones who got to come and celebrate with us. The day was REALLY windy but Karlee didn't mind.
We had a bug birthday party with catipillar cupcakes, ladybug cookies, and butterfly rice krispie treats.

We had carrots and dip for the sun and chips and grapes for the middle of the flowers.

Karlee loves playing at the park so we thought she would love her party there.

We gave Karlee a cupcake to dive into but she really didn't get that messy.

She ate the Whole thing!

We can't believe our baby is almost 1!

After the party Aubrey let Karlee open her present from her. She loves her new farm!

Mommy's Helper

Karlee always wants to help around the house. Most of the time she ends up making a bigger mess but it is so cute to watch. She must pay attention to all the things I do around the house. Let's hope she has this same enthusiasm for cleaning in a few years!

She loves to unload the dishwasher. The second she hears it opening she is right there to take out all of her spoons.

She still usually takes a bath in the sink because she is so small and it is easier. The last few days she has wanted to stand up and wipe down the counter with her wash cloth. Of course she doesn't ring out the water first so there is water everywhere by the time she is done.

She also likes to help put all her diapers in the diaper bin or sometimes take them all out.

What a great little helper!
