Our little Peanut

I took Karlee to the doctor this morning for her 9 month checkup.

*Height-25 1/2 in >5th percentile
*Weight-15.4 lbs. >5th percentile
*Head- 45 1/2 cm 75-90th percentile

I guess she is a short and skinny little girl with a big head. ( I don't know if they got the head right though because she has always had a little head as well.)

The doctor said she is healthy as can be and just a petite little girl!

Karlee is 9 months!

Karlee turned 9 months on Thursday. Wow, she is getting so big! She is crawling all over the place. I can't keep up with her. While I am cleaning up one mess she is on to the next thing making a new mess. Even with all the messes she is a lot of fun right now!

I bought some bubbles the other day because I thought she would like them. She didn't know what to think of them.

My sister Aubrey bought her this cute little outfit. It is kind of hard to move around in a jean skirt.
We gave her a sucker the other day and she thought it was the best thing ever! She already knows that sugar is good.

Aubrey had a work conference down here this weekend so she came a couple of days early so she could hang out with us. We thought it would be fun to paint Karlee's toenails. I let her have the sucker again so she would sit still.

Mommy and baby matching toenails.

Karlee is all ready for spring in her cute dress my mom gave her.

Karlee is getting really good at standing up on things. She will stand in one place for 10-15 minutes. She hasn't learned how to get down real well yet.

What's Going on With Us

Everyone is finally better at our house. I got sick and then Jeff got sick. A few days went by and we thought we were safe but Karlee eventually got sick as well. She really only had a runny nose and then got a little cough. It seemed like it was never going away so I finally took her to the doctor. Luckily it was just a cold and the doctor said it takes awhile for babies to get over being sick. I felt so bad for her but she kept playing and smiling as usual. I think she is finally back to normal.

I know the grandparents are wondering why there haven't been any Karlee pictures lately. We think she broke the cord that plugs into the camera and the computer. (She is starting to get into everything and is learning to be so sneaky.) So anyway I haven't been able to put any pictures on the computer for awhile. Hopefully I will be able to soon. This is a picture from probably a month or so ago. The weather is warming up nicely so we look forward to playing outside and visits from Aubrey and Grandma and Grandpa Vocana in the next couple of weeks.
