3 Months

Yesterday my sister ran the Logan Marathon. (She's in the pink.) We are so proud of her.

As of Friday Karlee is 3 months old. She is really smiling a lot and getting pretty good at holding her head up. She hasn't rolled over yet but I'm sure that is next. The best thing about her being older is there are several nights a week that she sleeps 8-9 hours straight! Yay!

I love her little jeans.
Karlee loves to lay in the warm laundry when it comes out of the dryer.
I was trying to take her picture before church today and you can totally tell she is going to the bathroom. She loves doing that in a newly changed diaper.

FYI

In case you were wondering...DON'T put vaseline in your baby's hair! Karlee has a little cradle cap (dry patches of skin on her head). I read somewhere that you can put vaseline on the head to clear it up. Last night I put it all over her head. The dry skin seemed to disappear but now I can't get the vaseline out of her hair. We gave her a bath and I washed her hair twice. This morning I washed her hair again. It is so shiny and greasy. The poor kid looks like she hasn't had a bath in weeks. I also noticed that the dry skin is coming back because I have used so much shampoo on her head. Nice!

Labor Day Weekend

My sister Ashley flew in from St. Louis this last weekend. This was the first time she got to meet Karlee. Of course we had to go to Cafe Rio since she hasn't eaten there in over a year. We went to Town Square and did a little shopping. Mainly we did a lot of hanging out and playing with Karlee. She loves her Aunt Ashley! It was a lot of fun for me since I don't get to see her very often.

Ashley loves buying Karlee clothes. She brought her this cute shirt and skirt. We were suprised it fit her already. It is so sad for me but Karlee is growing out of her newborn clothes. I just want her to stay little forever.

Karlee got to spend lots of time with daddy this weekend. Jeff has been working a lot and he started back to school last week. Two days a week Karlee hangs out with just mommy all day and all night. We love the days dad is home early.
