1st Trip to the Dentist

Karlee went to the dentist for the 1st time today. She was a little nervous because she didn't know what to expect but she did great! The dentist said her teeth look great! After taking a few x-rays and getting her teeth cleaned Karlee got a sticker, a new princess toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, and a new pink bracelet. She was pretty happy she went to the dentist.

Old McDonalds

Instead of focusing on all the naughty things Karlee does and sending her to time out, we decided to start acknowledging all the good things she does. I know a lot of parents that fill up some kind of jar when their kids are good. We started filling up a bucket with cotton balls. Karlee has worked hard the last month filling up her bucket. She got cotton balls for sharing with Karson, being nice to her friends, and listening to mommy and daddy. When her bucket was full she got to pick something special to do. We thought she might want to go rent a movie or pick out a small toy at the store. But there was only one thing she wanted to do...Go to Old McDonalds! She wanted to get a hamburger and french fries. Then she wanted to play at their playland. Look at sneaky little Karson:)
Don't forget the ice cream!
Karlee had a great time. Why do all kids love McDonalds?

Now Karlee is working on filling up her bucket again so she can go do something else fun.

10 Months

Our little guy is 10 months old today. In just two months he is not going to be a baby anymore but a little toddler that is probably walking around. Oh I'm so sad:( He is just too big but he is more fun now! He doesn't like baby food anymore, which makes him seem even more grown up. He got one of his top teeth in last week so now he has 3. He is usually a happy little guy!

Just within the last few days he started being able to stand by himself. He doesn't try to go anywhere but it is only a matter of time.

He can walk a little when he is holding on to his truck.

Even when he cries he is so cute! He pretty much gets what he wants.

We don't want to leave Ms. Diva out. Whenever we take Karson's picture she makes sure we get one of her too:)

Happy St. Patrick's Day

You can't pinch me!

Karlee was so worried last night when she went to bed that she was going to have to wear green today (a boy color). She was happy when I told her she still got to wear pink and a little green. Silly girl!

A Girly Girl

I am a girly girl and always have been. My mom says I wouldn't leave the house for elementary school unless my hair was curled. My dad tried putting me in soccer and I just picked flowers on the field or my friend and I would play with each other's hair:) Without even trying to, Karlee is turning into a little girly girl herself.
Every single day she wants to wear a dress or a skirt. She throws a fit if I try to put jeans on her. She has to have her toenails painted too. If the polish is coming off she goes and gets polish from my bathroom and needs it done right then.

She loves putting jewerly on. She always picks out a necklace and bracelet for Karson and Jeff too. Pink is her favorite color and she wants everything she wears, has, or uses to be pink also!
Karlee loves playing with her babies and being a little mommy. This morning she had a picnic with all of them.

Although I love having a girl I just love having a boy just as much. Karson is just happy playing in the balls or chasing a balloon around the house. I'm sure he is going to be more wild but hopefully less dramatic:)
