Karlee's in Kindergarten!

Karlee started Kindergarten on Wednesday!  She was so excited to start school and so ready!! I'm not sure that I was ready but I know it will be so good for her. She has an amazing teacher, who happens to be in our ward. I know she will have a wonderful year!
The night before school she got her backpack, supplies, and lunchbox all ready!

Here she is on the 1st day! Luckily I got to go with her that day so it made it easier for her and me:) We both had a fun day of learning about her new classroom and a little about the school.

The second day was a little harder since she had to go by herself.  She got in line and as she walked into the class we both got a little teary eyed.  She is in great hands though and she already loves Mrs. Kaas!

Kyler's Birthday

Kyler's actual birthday was not fun! It was the day we came home from Idaho.  It was a lot of driving in the car and flying on two planes to get home super late. I felt so bad that it happened that way but Jeff kept reminding me that Kyler had no idea.
We celebrated his birthday while we were in Idaho with Jeff's family.  He enjoyed the cake which you can see by his face :)

About a week after we got home from our trip we celebrated again with cupcakes. We skyped and facetimed with my parents and sisters so they could watch him dive into his cupcake.  Both times he got cake he was pretty clean.  He ate the whole thing but didn't get all that messy.  I think it is safe to say that he likes sweets though!

Poor 3rd kid didn't get much as far as presents.  He needed a new car seat and some clothes.  This was one of the few toys he got.  Good thing when you are one you don't know or care.

Still can't believe he is ONE! He is walking all over the place now and climbing and getting into more stuff.  He keeps us busy but we love him!

Kyler turned ONE!

Kyler turned one on July 29th! The year went by so fast! He has been such a great baby.  His brother and sister love him to death.  I can't imagine our family without him. When we were taking his picture every month we didn't think he was really changing but now looking at them all together he definitely did change a little each month.  Now he looks like a little kid! We sure love him!

Idaho Trip

Jeff's family had a reunion in McCall, Idaho at the end of July. It was a little pain getting there (flying out of LA, having a layover, and driving a couple more hours from Boise) but it was worth it. It is a beautiful place and we had a great time seeing family and enjoying a little relaxation!

The house we rented was a couple blocks from the lake so we spent some time swimming and playing in the sand.

We rented a jet ski one day and took turns riding that.  Jeff and I enjoyed that.  Our kids..not so much.

Jeff's mom planned a sock hop.  She made all the girls poodle skirts and made the boys super hero capes.  Everyone had fun with that!

She even made her boys join in on the fun :)

We celebrated Kyler's 1st birthday and his cousin Sophie's 7th birthday.

We did a tiny hike but got to enjoy some beautiful views.

I'm sure the kids would say the best thing about the trip was playing with their cousins.

Everyone at the reunion: Jeff's grandma, his parents, his brother Brian and family, his brother Kyle and family, and us.
